Windows 7 and Vista BitBeater Installation
BitBeater car lot software is Microsoft Vista and Windows 7 compatible however there are numerous security changes in Vista which require you to TURN OFF the "User Account Control" (UAC) feature when you install or un-install BitBeater.
To install BitBeater you will need to turn off UAC first (see instructions below) then after installation TURN UAC back on to restore your settings..
To turn UAC off, install BitBeater and then turn UAC back on:
1) Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel
2) Double click on "User Accounts".
3) Click on "Turn User Control Account on or off".
4) When Vista or Windows 7 asks for permission click on "Continue".
5) At the User Account Control screen, click on the checkbox to select whether
you want to turn UAC on or off.
6) Click on the "OK" button.
7) Install BitBeater
7) Go back to step 1 and turn UAC back on
You're ready to go, BitBeater is now properly installed. |
